About me
I began exploring photography in 2020 while working as an engineer in Japan. During the pandemic, I spent a lot of time riding my bike around the cities of Osaka, Kyoto, and Tokyo, capturing candid moments of city life with my Fujifilm camera. This sparked my interest in street photography, and I dedicated myself to learning about different techniques and styles in order to improve my craft.
As I shot more and more photos, I found myself drawn to the intimacy and authenticity of street photography, which allows the photographer to capture genuine emotions and expressions from their subjects. After returning to France and reviewing a year's worth of photographs on my laptop, I decided to share my work with others who also appreciate photography.
This website serves as an outlet for me to showcase my creativity and try out new projects. You may notice a range of styles in my collections, from monochrome to blurry shots, as I am always looking to experiment and learn. I hope that you will enjoy viewing my work and following along on my journey as a street photographer.
Street photography is a type of photography that focuses on capturing candid, spontaneous moments in public places. It typically involves taking photographs of people, buildings, and scenes in the urban environment, often in a documentary or journalistic style. Street photographers aim to capture the everyday life, culture, and atmosphere of the city, as well as to document social issues and events.
What is Street Photography?
Street photography is often characterised by its candid and unplanned nature, as well as its focus on the interaction between people and their surroundings. It is often associated with a sense of intimacy and authenticity, as the photographer is often able to capture genuine emotions and expressions from their subjects.
I mostly use a Fujifilm X-T30. The lenses I use are the Fujinon XF 35 mm f/2 R WR and the Fujinon XF18-55mm F2.8-4 R LM OIS.
